Ive been absent for almost 2 weeks now but I'm slowly working my way back into making things again. We had a sudden loss in our family right after my last post so its been a rollercoaster of emotions and things to do. Im trying to get back into my art even just to help me mentally and emotionally channel somewhere out of my brain. Hug your loved ones and talk often because you never know when it'll be the last time. 🤍🕊

I don't know if you guys realize how much goes into doing this type of fiber art lol but my finger is now getting a blister from pulling cord for hours yesterday and part of this morning 🤣.

I am at the halfway mark on this piece though! Between making the new bracelets that will be shown this week, I may not finish until this weekend. My fingers definately need a break. 🤣

It doesn't look like much now, but this is my first woven pixel macrame piece! 3 hours in and this is how it looks so far lol.

Its a very tedious and slow process but I can't wait to show you the final look of it. This is done using only 2 knots, larks head and half hitch. Stay tuned 🙃

3rd times the charm right? 🤣 Out of the 3 headbands I tested out, this one came out perfect! Getting it to be snug enough to fit comfortably but not so snug it hurts your head has been the goal. And now that the pattern is perfected to fit I can start knotting away 🤍.
