HAPPY MONDAY! In 1971 and passed in 1973, the U.S. Congress designated August 26th as βWomen's Equality Day.β The date was selected to commemorate the 1920 certification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, granting women the right to vote. On this National Women's Equality Day, let us remember the strides made and keep pressing forward through the work ahead. Cheer on another woman today to press forward!! ππ
Unfortunately, due to the possibility of inclement weather, the difficult decision has been made to postpone the Block Party for this Saturday.
Thank you all for your support of the neighborhood and your willingness to come out and enjoy the festivities.
The goal now is to celebrate in the Fall and have an October Festival!
Thank you for understanding. Please continue to follow us for more information concerning this event.

National Immunization Awareness Month is an annual event held in August to highlight the importance of vaccinations for people of all ages. Did you know by being vaccinated, you prevent viruses or bacteria from infecting those who cannot be vaccinated against them, such as babies too young to receive some vaccines? Let's prioritize our health by protecting ourselves against vaccine-preventable diseases. Check with your healthcare provider to ensure you're up to date. Together, we can build a stronger and healthier community! ππ

Sisters Haven is proud to be a member of In Faith for Families Network which connects individuals and organizations motivated by Christian faith to act in a collaborative effort to support women, children, and families to thrive holistically. It is the consistency of networking and collaborating that caused this tour to be a great opportunity and inspired us all in a very tangible way. Thank you Community West Foundation and In Faith for Families Network for this beautiful experience.
"Created by Canadian artist, Timothy Schmalz, this group of six sculptures represents the areas called out in the Gospel of Matthew to care for the least of our brothers and sisters in need. Community West Foundation permanently installed these artworks on the near west side to spark conversations around social justice and empathy. Cleveland is the second city in the world, following Rome, Italy, to have a full collection of bronze figures."

The study was to determine the frequency and impact of trauma on patients who were considered high risk in their pregnancies, as well as education of impact of unresolved trauma on expectant moms and unborn children. This study was in response to the growing fetal deaths in the urban communities of Cleveland, Ohio.
During the pandemic, Stacey advocated for pregnant mothers and new moms by outreaching all current patients. She provided education on coping strategies and with the assistance of the University Hospitals Rainbow Connects Department, she sent COVID packages, which included hygiene items, reading materials, diapers, and grocery store gift cards.
Stacey also works in private practice with Solstice Counseling & Consultation Services, where she provides counseling services for adults and couples.
Over the past thirteen years of working in clinical settings, Stacey has noted the profound impact that struggles with traumatic experiences, depression, and anxiety have on their family and children. She developed a passion of helping gain insight, providing education, as well as teaching coping strategies to individuals seeking assistance
With the start of a new week, no matter what comes your way, we hope you remember to... BREATHE!
