Both pieces post varnish. I’d say it’s my best varnishing effort to date- minimal cat hair 😸

Quite possibly the most use anyone will get out of their text books is using them as weights... that’s my wood panel under there with freshly mounted watercolor paper drying. 📚

Prepping some panels for new work! Each new painting will come with free black cat hair 🖤😸🖤 apparently, according to Etsy, some people are willing to PAY MONEY for black car fur, you know... for casting spells 🤷🏻‍♀️ so this is quite the bargain!

Getting ready for 2019!! And when in doubt, check with Rackham. 🖤🥔🦡🥕🖤 I adore Arthur Rackham, especially his Wind in the Willows illustrations! My favorite character is the no-nonsense yet kindly Mr. Badger. Who’s yours?

Happy December!!! ❄️😊❄️ I’ve been resting up all November long, taking a much needed break and storing up some energy! One of the benefits of not doing art full time is that I can rest when I want to without impacting my income. But I’m itching to get painting and there’s lots of good shows coming up in 2019, so keep your eyes peeled for new work! This is a cropped shot of Fortuna from my solo show this summer. She’s currently for sale at a bargain over at for their annual Give a Gift of Art show.
