Our membership contest has come to an end! We had four units who met the requirements to be eligible to win one of our custom 8’ tablecloths. Use every single opportunity to enroll new members by asking one simple question: Would you like to help provide great opportunities for our students by joining the PTA? In-person asks can yield so many YES responses. No matter what the event is, use it as an opportunity to enroll new members throughout the year by continuously asking that one question. It just takes one.

#MembershipMonday: Membership contests are a fun way to increase your unit's membership numbers. Devise a simple contest between grade levels, classrooms or just setting an entire building goal of ### new members in thirty days. Examples of contest prizes for the winners could include a popcorn party, an extra recess, free reading time, playing a game or a special visit by the school mascot. Small rewards can provide big incentives for increasing membership!

Families want to invest their membership dollars, volunteer hours and advocacy concerns into an organization that has clear goals for growth.
