The cleanup is well underway in Janesville after The National Weather Service confirmed and EF2 tornado hit the area Saturday night. My thoughts are with everyone impacted across Southern Wisconsin.

Thank you friends for all the birthday messages. The calls, texts, videos and messages have truly blessed me. I can’t believe I’m officially 40, but so blessed to be in the number.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

I’m blessed beyond measure because of Queen Viv. When I moved back to Wisconsin I promised her I would always come home for Mother’s Day. Thankful for a quick weekend back home in South Carolina.

Also, shout out to Uncle Joe for keeping the dream alive and my old headshot on the fridge.

Hundreds without power as severe storms move through southern Wisconsin.

Hundreds without power as severe storms move through southern Wisconsin ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WKOW) -- Alliant Energy's outage map indicates hundreds are without power as severe storms move through southern Wisconsin.

HAPPENING NOW: The Tornado Warning has been extended for parts of southern Wisconsin.

Dane, Rock and parts of Jefferson Counties are under a Tornado Warning until 6:30 p.m.

27 Storm Track Meteorologists say there is a confirmed tornado on the ground, last seen near Porter, Wisconsin.

Tornado Warnings issued for Dane, Rock, Green Counties until 6:30 p.m. A passing cold front has brought storms this evening.

Today we wear red to support the American Heart Association - Wisconsin.

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Dane, Dodge, Grant, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Lafayette, Rock, and Walworth counties from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Precipitation will likely begin as freezing rain as this system moves in from the south after midnight.

Tracking wintry precipitation into Tuesday, Winter Weather Advisory in effect We're cloudy and dry through the rest of Monday, but a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow moves into southern Wisconsin late tonight and into Tuesday.

Our major winter storm will continue to bring moderate to significant snow fall through the rest of Friday evening and into the early overnight hours.

Snow fall rates will continue to range between 1-2" per hour as winds continue to gust between 30 and 45 miles per hour.

Heavy snow, winds give way to dangerous cold Our latest winter storm will continue to barrel through the region for the rest of Friday and begin to pull out of the Midwest early Saturday morning. As it moves out, it'll still bring the threat for light snow throughout Saturday. It'll also be pulling down Arctic air in time for Sunday.

Each winter storm is different even ones that follow each other as closely as this storm and the one earlier this week.

Many across southern Wisconsin will have a good chance to pick up, AT LEAST, 6" of wet, heavy snow. Gusts up to 45 miles per hour will create localized higher amounts along with snow drifts across the area along with white out conditions.

Our winter storm warning begins Friday morning and lasts through 12pm Saturday. Stay with 27 News for the latest.

Ahead of our next winter storm, expected to arrive late Thursday/early Friday, another winter storm watch has been issued and will begin Friday morning through 12pm Saturday.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for most of southern Wisconsin from 6 a.m. Tuesday to 3 a.m. Wednesday. An advisory is in place just before that as light snow starts tonight but becomes heavy after daybreak Tuesday.
