April is Autism Awareness Month
April is Autism Awareness Month, and at Boone Supported Living, LLC, we are proud to celebrate and support individuals on the autism spectrum. Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects communication, social interaction, and behavior. It's estimated that 1 in 54 children in the United States is diagnosed with autism, making it a prevalent condition that affects people of all ages and backgrounds. At Boone Supported Living, we recognize the unique strengths and challenges that come with autism. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where individuals on the spectrum can thrive and reach their full potential.
