We’re so glad to have the team back in CoMo this weekend! Cars 18, 55, & 216 were in need of some drive time🛞

🏁DAYS 2 & 3☑️

The past few days have been action packed! We’ve completed EV Active Tech, Tilt, Rain, & Brakes, our team also presented on Design & Cost Reports. 🛞

We completed Skidpad, Acceleration, and AutoX as well!🔥

🏁DAY 1☑️

The team completed Accumulator and mechanical technical inspections today! Tomorrow we will complete EV Active inspection, tilt, rain, and brakes tests. Stay tuned on stories to see our progress⚡️

🏁Michigan 2024☑️

We did it! The team competed with Car # 55 at last week. We are happy to announce we placed 22nd overall! 🏆 Some special highlights include 1st in skidpad & 13th in endurance.

🏁DAY 4☑️

The team successfully completed endurance! We also earned a trophy for Skidpad - 1st place (tied with Purdue)🏆

HUGE shoutout to the team and Car # 55, this year was not easy and we are beyond proud of this group. 🫶🏼

We finished up brakes and received our final sticker! The team competed in all three driving events as well, we’re ready for Endurance Day💪🏼 Be sure to check back tomorrow for updates! Results can be found at results.fsaeonline.com 🔗

The team had an action packed and very rainy day at ☔️ We passed technical inspection, fuel, tilt, and noise. The team also completed Design and Cost presentations.

Brakes testing will be first thing tomorrow morning followed by our first day of driving! Be sure to check out our stories for updates. 🏎️

The team had a great first day at !! We went through technical inspection and scales. A few minor fixes were needed before re-tech tomorrow morning and we are good to go! Make sure to check back for tomorrow’s updates. 🛞

Our 2024 Competition Cars! 🛞 Once again, thank you to all that came out to support the teams. We are beyond excited to share these cars with you and had a blast celebrating this accomplishment.

Ben Higgins serves as our team’s Vice President and Powertrain Lead. A sophomore mechanical engineering major, he joined the team in Fall 2022. Ben is in charge of design and manufacturing for all powertrain components and contributes extensively to our welding process. We are excited to highlight his hard work!

We are incredibly grateful for our sponsorship with Altium! The licensing provided by Altium has greatly contributed to our electrical sub-team’s PCB manufacturing. This has allowed our electrical engineers to developed the skills needed for industry standard software. Thank you for your continual support!

Aidan Neely is a member of our aerodynamics team and mangages composite manufacturing. He is a junior economics major and has been on the team since Fall 2022. “I’m excited to see the improvement in quality and techniques that this team is making with its carbon fiber elements,” Aidan said of the growing aerodynamics sub-team. This semester Aidan has been integral to the layup processes for our undertrary, wings, and nosecone, and we are excited to be able to highlight his hard work!
