just another post about how happy I am to be moving during this whole pregnancy. still going strong at 30 weeks, I really couldn’t be happier this pregnancy compared to last even though the amount of weight I can lift is dropping. here’s to 10 more weeks & no days off 😮💨
health is wealth 🫶🏻
pregnancy is extremely difficult and 1000% not for the weak. BUT remaining active is so important for lowering risks of complications during and after birth and baby’s health. think of pregnancy as a 40 week marathon/TRAINING for a quicker & easier labor 🫶🏻
Thank you Lord for giving me the strength & ability to move my body this pregnancy. So much more energy, mobility, & happiness. Continuing to lift weights & walk daily 👏🏻🤩 Slide for this week’s movement 🫶🏻

these photos were taken exactly 1 year apart. here’s the difference:
1 year ago, I was trying to figure out a new life, breastfeeding, proper nourishment, moving across the country with a newborn, colic, the list goes on….
now, I’m still doing all those things (add and subtract a couple things also) but it got easier. The circumstances didn’t change much but life with a baby got easier.
this is to new moms who are totally lost in a brand new life and feeling guilty prioritizing themselves. life gets easier, learning your baby gets easier, and learning routines get soooooo much easier. it just takes time. more importantly, prioritizing yourself IS prioritizing your baby. exercise, nourish your body, go outside, and get proper rest. those factors contribute to mental health SO incredibly much. babies deserve healthy mommas 🫶🏻
… and this is for ‘snap back’ culture. it doesn’t exist. postpartum is not linear.
mommas… don’t skip rehabilitation of your core. tons of moms suffer from diastasis recti which can cause a number of imbalances and issues for the body. most common issues of diastasis recti is postural and the infamous ‘mom pooch’ 🫶🏻
cannot believe these are less than a month apart 😭 when I hit 6 months of breastfeeding, I had no idea the dramatic shift I needed in caloric intake (I was basically in an epic bulk😂). Shifted my macros and JUST 2 WEEKS I saw this big of a change…
