Easy E King Cake History - I grew up 100 miles from New Orleans in a small Mississippi city that very much celebrated Mardi Gras. Even my teenage years in Jackson, MS had king cakes. North MS as an adult raising kids - I couldn’t find a good king cake and hated paying money to ship from New Orleans on my February birthday. So, I got in the kitchen.

This isn’t a fancy king cake. It’s rolled out in my family kitchen. Made with love and prayers for a joyful Carnival Season!
