volancydogs
We offer obedience training (on and offleash), behavior modification, bike training, and dog walking.
Here's Benji working on listening, waiting, and respecting boundaries. He started the session jumping around and biting the leash, but he ended with politely following directions! He is not especially fond of strangers, but that's okay--if I can't demonstrate, I coach the humans on exactly what to do. I know I have to get better about recording videos, it's just in my nature to want to address the issue ASAP and not be like "Let me get your dog acting up for the 'gram", lol.

I'm so glad we got at least one decent snowfall to take the dogs out in! Seeing the huskies in particular frolic through a wintry landscape makes me so happy.

Summer learned to be reliable off leash in just a handful of sessions, which is honestly pretty common for the average dog with the right approach and tools (both treats and e-collar!). I just love teaching dogs and their humans how to achieve off-leash freedom. ^^

Whoops, I forgot to post for a while. :U Lol. Here's Ebony and Bella working on being non-reactive when distractions pass the house. Note that your dog does not need to violently overreact to everything that passes the house in order to be watchful and alert you in situations you want them to. Dogs are smart and can learn the difference.

Little Aury kept Marti company while I ran the Coastal Delaware Marathon. People on the boardwalk kept telling Marti how cute Aury was, haha. More people recognised his breed and said they loved Brittanys than I expected.

Milo's leash-pulling and reactivity resolved quickly with the right leadership, guidance, and communication. Now he's working on his offleash skills on the longline so he can have more freedom and fun!

Orion got all his energy out during training--working on loose leash walking, informal and formal recall, sit, heeling, down, and being neutral towards strange people and dogs--and then posed calmly for a nice picture. :P (I'm trying to remember to take more photos!) Orion gets to run, play, and herd with his Blue Heeler friends at the farm, but he is also learning how to listen and behave in public so he can go on walks and to different events with his people!

Off-leash session with Hades. :] Been working with this guy since he was a little puppy!
Big thanks to Bill for driving and taking pictures the other day when we hung out with Jessica and Indigo!
We went on a romp through wooded trails to celebrate Indigo's birthday! (Indigo is .paint.w.cockatielqueen's dog!)

Dryas off-leash at the farm fair. I uploaded a longer video with more clips to Youtube (link in bio). Nothing fancy as far as videos go, it was just to show him off-leash in a high-distraction environment.

Some clips from that thing we went to the other day. P.S. I don't normally go to dog parks, but this was for a specific event, Dryas is very good when interacting with other dogs, and this park is a really big wooded area. Just felt like I needed the disclaimer, lol.

Quick training session I had recorded with Kimi practising around another dog. Teddy ran over to us when Bill told him "Break" because I'm normally the one handling him and he wanted to be with me. Kimi and Teddy had played together elsewhere before, and I knew they were fine interacting, so there was no risk if either one made a mistake. I never allowed her to get this close to a stranger's dog, I just wanted to make clear that trying to approach another dog is pointless as I will just keep calling her away and she will never actually make it to them.

Kimi already completed her program and this is the first time I'm posting a training session with her (from last week). I'm so bad at social media, lol. Oh well. ¯\(°_o)/¯ I would like to try and record and post more.
