Ekam Recovery
At Ekam Recovery, we go beyond traditional therapy and treatment services to assist individuals stru
The practice of yoga is designed to bring the body and mind into balance as well as broaden the emotional and spiritual capacities. The physical postures improve health by aiding in proper functioning of the internal organs, restores the nervous and endocrine system reducing stress and depressive symptoms, and increases self-awareness.
“It is our dream to provide the highest level of holistic, innovative care to individuals from all socioeconomic levels. Too often, those in need are denied quality care due to income, past history, or other reasons. We have continued to look for ways to change the system to be accessible and inclusive to all, and believe our center is a significant step toward changing the bigger picture of how care is provided to some of the most vulnerable in our population.”
Many recovery programs are designed to heal the individual from the outside in, by focusing on the physical body, their surroundings, and their environment. By integrating yoga, meditation, and mindfulness techniques into the recovery process, we are able to offer an additional dimension of healing - from the inside out.

There was a time when I was ashamed of my story. I didn’t share it with others outside of the recovery community because I didn’t believe my past fit the mold of who a yoga teacher is supposed to be.
Today, I am no longer ashamed of my story. The more I talk with others about it, the more I realize that we have all struggled with something. I don’t want anyone to feel like they have to struggle alone. Through Ekam Recovery, we are integrating the transformational power of innovative, proven clinical therapies with yoga, mindfulness, and meditation techniques so that everyone can begin a new chapter in their stories.
We are so excited that our first Intensive Outpatient Program is starting THIS MONTH! - March 21st.
Sessions are onsite Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1pm - 4pm.

Addiction is often described as a disease of disconnection and isolation; while the word yoga means “union”. It refers to the union of mind, body, and spirit providing a holistic framework for recovery. Many recovery programs are designed to heal the individual from the outside in, by focusing on the physical body, their surroundings, and their environment. By integrating yoga, meditation, and mindfulness techniques into the recovery process, we are able to offer an additional dimension of healing - from the inside out.

Sobriety and yoga has changed my life in so many ways. Picture on the left, no one’s home. I was deep in my addiction. Picture on the right, I’m fully awake.
