Throughout the years, employees at this facility have developed and manufactured more than a dozen new types of Protexis™ surgical gloves. The team is focused on sustainability improvements, labor practices, quality standards and strategic investments.

Recently, Rayong leadership hosted a celebration for its 2,200 facility employees to commemorate this milestone. Our team in Dublin, Ohio also celebrated from afar. Congratulations, team! 🎉

A celebration in Canada yesterday as our executive leadership team along with employees, customers, suppliers and elected officials officially opened the newest distribution center in Vaughan, Ontario. The 163,000 square foot facility increases Cardinal Health Canada's distribution footprint to more than 1.2 million square feet.

"Uno de nuestros más grandes desafíos lo enfrentamos en el 2020 cuando por la situación del COVID-19 nos vimos en la necesidad de diseñar, producir y exportar un nuevo producto desde nuestra planta", nos cuenta. "Durante ocho semanas un equipo multifuncional (Dominicana, México y EE.UU) trabajamos día tras día sin descanso para que el proyecto se ejecutara exitosamente en tiempo récord y así suplir la necesidad que tenía el mundo en ese momento".

"Todo esto nos permitió iniciar una exportación del producto a los dos meses con una calidad calidad y eficiencia de líneas de producción más allá de los estándares establecidos inicialmente", finaliza.

The Cardinal Health Community Pharmacy Scholarship Fund offers annual scholarships to The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy students pursuing careers in community pharmacy. Recently, this year’s winners, Vidhi Daga and Emma Seals, were recognized at our Dublin, OH headquarters and met with Brad Cochran, EVP of Pharmaceutical and Specialty Distribution and President of Medicine Shoppe International.

Vidhi and Emma both have a passion for serving their community and have chosen careers in pharmacy because it will enable them to provide more personalized, patient-focused care. The future of pharmacy is in good hands with these remarkable young women. Congratulations!
