(The funniest part was my mom thinking New Orleans and NOLA were two different places)

Happy indigenous peoples day! Indigenous people have such a wealth of history and endless knowledge we could learn from. Their resiliency, their understanding with and ability to live with nature, their kindness, their strength and their unending commitment to who they are are to be treasured.

Hello my lovelies!

This is something near and dear to my heart I don’t discuss often.

I was in an abusive marriage and had an abusive childhood. It took years to process a majority of what happened, by healing I found that I had an opportunity to use that to help heal others.

So for the last year or so, once a month I massage survivors of domestic violence at to reintroduce them to positive touch.

So this year I am doing a drive for this shelter that has become so dear to my heart.

These women have been through so much and ask for so little. These are what they need:
- Professional and business casual clothes and shoes for interviews and starting new jobs (any size)

- clothes and toys for children, all genders all ages all sizes

- Afro centric hair and body care. Many of these families are black and black centric hair care is expensive. They will happily take any opened OR unopened products.

I will be collecting these items in office or will come collect them from you. And as a thank you for donating you will receive a 10% off card for any services I offer.

I am just as grateful, if not moreso, for you to trust me enough to be on my table than you likely are for your massage!
