A recent poll conducted by @NAMI found about 87% of parents somewhat or strongly support the presence of mental health education in schools, and nearly 89% feel their children's mental health matters just as much as, if not more than, their academic achievement. These results are just one example why mental health agencies should be present in local education systems. At North Community we are dedicated to bringing mental health services to the children in our community. Through our school-based program we offer children K-12 with individual counseling, grief support, community based services, psychiatric care, advocacy for educational need and more.
