AMETEK Solidstate Controls had an awesome time yesterday getting to experience the solar eclipse! We celebrated with celestial sundaes from Graeter's Ice Cream and watched the moon fully eclipse the sun for 43 seconds at our office in Worthington, Ohio.
📣UPDATE INCOMING! This Wellness Wednesday AMETEK Solidstate Controls and Prestolite Power are proud to announce that we have reached our goal of recycling 500 pounds of plastic in our challenge with Trex Company! Three months ago we posted about our first month of this program, where we had collected 136 pounds. Now, we have met our goal with almost four months to spare - that is what I call dedication to sustainability! To keep up with the enthusiasm, our office will continue to collect plastics for recycling.
For over ten years, AMETEK Solidstate Controls and Prestolite Power have had the opportunity to support our community by partnering with The Byron Saunders Foundation to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in Columbus, Ohio. This year, we were able to donate ten boxes of nonperishable items!
