Today we celebrate the feast day of St. James one of the most famous saints from Spain. Apostle James was one of the first of the 12 apostles to be recruited by Jesus.

We have been talking to some wonderful candidates thanks to all your help sharing these and talking to people you know. Please keep helping us find high quality forever OLB staffers!

Today is the feast day for St. Mary Magdalene. The feast of St. Mary Magdalene is considered one of the most mystical of feasts because her love was so strong.

They help with so many things like campus projects, reading to younger students, having their own buddy for morning meeting and much more. Help our priests to be strong in their vocation.
Set their souls on fire with love for your people.

Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.

Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel.
Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.

Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest.

Today is an extra special Feast Day – Blessed Clara Fey (1815-1894) – Founder of the Sisters of the Poor Child Jesus. Her life was dedicated to assisting the poor, with a particular emphasis on education.

The Earth Monsters have arrived! Each year the OLB Kindergarten class has to create their own Earth Monster that helps out God's creation. Check out what a great job they all did.

Thank you to everyone who attended last weeks "Swing and Read Awhile". We loved seeing so many OLBers, parents and grandparents having a fun time!

One thing that sets OLB's Kindergarten apart is how we lift our students up and offer them opportunities that others might think are beyond their age or abilities. This week two of our Kindergarten students went to St. Gabriel Radio to record a radio spot. We are grateful to everyone at St. Gabriel, especially Studio Manager Dave Orsborn. Make sure you tune in and listen to the lovely job they did.
