Having unrealistic expectations in regards to the time frame in which your body āshouldā be able to change is setting yourself up for disappointmentā¦and aināt nobody got time for that š
If your goal is for permanent change, then you are going to be doing the same things that it took to create your change to stay there, so whatās the rush š¤·āāļø
Can you take the ātime frameā hat off and focus on the change process and allow it to work for you? I promise if you give this approach a chance, you wonāt be disappointed!

Yesterday was taco š® Tuesday!
We both include some sort of taco in our weekly menu.
Tacos are super quick and easy to throw together after work. There are a ton of variations you can throw together.
We used:
ā”ļøGrass fed beef
ā”ļøCilantrošæ
ā”ļøRoma Tomatoes š
ā”ļøSautĆ©ed peppers and onions
ā”ļøAvocado š„
ā”ļøBeans
ā”ļøCotija cheese
And of course margaritas!
We use for our chips, taco shells and seasoning.
Not only do they taste great but they are made with real food.
P.S said she is buying me all new cookware. I told her I would rather spend my money on my wardrobe and what I have gets the job done!

Your bodi fights weight loss.
You try a diet.
You get results quickly.
You stop the diet.
Your results fade.
You try another diet.
And then the whole cycle begins again.
Do you notice after multiple attempts it just continues to get harder and harder?
Whenever you drastically decrease your calorie intake, your metabolism wants to slow down.
Why?
Your bodi thinks it is in distress due to the shortage of calories.
Your hormones react to this too, thus making it harder to stay in that super low caloric deficiency.
Think about it this wayā¦.when you get sick, your bodi creates antibodies so your immune system is prepared.
Your bodi reacts the same way when you try losing weight using the same drastic strategies. It will try and prevent damage and you will see fewer weight loss results.
This is why when you try to eat normal again, your bodi wants to hold on to everything. It is in survival mode.
This entire process can lead to unrealistic expectations and unhealthy relationships with food.
This why we believe in a sustainable and behavioral approach to weight lossā¦..if that is you goal.
If you have dieted on off for years, you will not reach your goal in 90 days. You need to commit to at least 6 months to a year to see changes

All Birthdays are a time to celebrate life, this one is extra special for Claire and for those of us that know and love her!
Claire was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer just over 3 years ago. If you donāt know about this diagnosis it is devastating, as there is still no cure. Most people connect lung cancer to smoking, however thatās not true for Claire, the truth is 20% of the people who pass from lung cancer never smoked AND LUNG CANCER IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF CANCER DEATH AMONG MEN AND WOMEN, regardless of whether they smoke or not! The other unfortunate truth about this cancer is typically, it is not discovered until late stage.
Claire is fortunate to be working with world renowned lung cancer specialist, Dr David Carbone James Cancer Thoracic Center. Dr. Carbone and his research team have successfully developed multiple treatment options over the last several years and because of their work, Claire is winning this fight!!! We are forever grateful to Dr. Carbone and his team and the best way to show appreciation is to help them continue their life saving work through funding.
Last year for Claireās birthday we created a charity in her honor, Moving Mountains to Make a Difference, this charity goes directly to the work that Dr Carbone is doing!
