Meet Dorothy, who was recently promoted to Assistant Manager at 3-1-1. "I work with some of the best people in the City of Columbus. They are a constant inspiration to me. Everyone supports each other and strives to provide excellent customer service to our residents on every call. The other favorite part of my job is the customers. Time is running out for Columbus-based nonprofits that deliver summer programming to youth ages 5-18 to apply to receive support funding from the City of Columbus! The Department of Neighborhoods Columbus, Columbus City Council, and Columbus Recreation and Parks Department will work together to decide which organizations receive those funds and the selected organizations will be notified later this spring. Carla has spent the last 25 years helping others through her leadership roles in public service, with seven years under her belt here at the Department of Neighborhoods. Q: What keeps her passionate about this type of work? A: "Serving the residents of Columbus. We can provide resources, but more importantly, hope.
