Big changes ahead for this tired space. But look at all the beauty ready to shine again. ❤️
Do you Love Design as much I do?
Maybe you just want your home to represent you and your family, but it still feels like the family that lived there 5 years ago.
Don't worry that's pretty normal. But what finally happens for most people is that they come up for air and find the time and decide they are ready to invest in their home's esthetic. Not just the new hot water tank or insulation that no one notices.
If you are in that in between space and want to dream about your homes future facelift then this newsletter called WELCOME HOME can be that tool. Time to dream and plan for the future projects.
But if your are ready to make the changes that will make Your Home Yours, we are here and would love to help guide you on that next Interior Design Project.

Do you have the patience to do a Master Bathroom Remodel? How long does it take?
Construction should only take 2 weeks. Really??
Yes, if you work with someone (an Interior Designer) ahead of time to plan and to purchase all the new fixtures.
It’s hard to get contractors, it’s hard to get building supplies! True, but if you work with someone early enough in your project then these issues aren’t such a problem.
What once felt like an awkward space finally feels PERFECT. This little bathroom had a makeover probably in the 80’s and it just made no sense. The wrong layout, the wrong flooring and it just lacked any connection to this little cape cod.
But now, it feels double in size, it has character and charm. Plus a piece of family history with the little sewing machine cabinet as the vanity. Oh and the storage! Squeezed 2 custom cabinets right between the studs.
When it comes to guest bathrooms or half bathrooms, I like to have fun! It’s an opportunity to use bold colors and a chance to get creative with wood work.
Give your half bath a personality, give your guests something to talk about. Wish you could see the cool floor. I forgot to take a picture. 🤦♀️
The Master Retreat you always wanted is there, it just needs to be revealed.
When designing a space it’s fundamental to add details that others will remember! How often do you see a bubble chandelier?
You’ll catch a glimpse of me selecting tile for this space at one of my favorite showrooms.
This space was previously home to a dated soaker tub, laminated counter tops and you guessed one large mirror. How many times have you seen this in a 80-90’s bathroom? Less is more today.
Not the best videographer, but sometimes you’ll see something in a video you can’t in the pictures.
Master Bathroom Remodel
This was a large oversized window seat, with a heavy hinged top. Whatever was stored inside was forgotten, because it was too hard to open and access the contents.
Not to mention it was taking up too much space in the little cape cod bedroom.
Keeping the wood from the window seat and repurposing it into… this function desk!
Doesn’t it look like it’s been there since 1939 when the home was built?
One of my favorite clients, said Yes! Yes to letting me create this beautiful focal point in her home.
We began with sketches and idea images. Once approved I brought in a craftsman to do the custom wood work. 🌟Cabinets with vertical shiplap in back. Loving the 200 year old beam we used as the mantel. ❤️ Completed with the piece de resistance. …germain schmear. 🧱. Hand painted by one of my favorite artists.
