Hair loss/shedding is something that alot more women than you realize struggle with! There are many many reasons as to why it could be happening, so let’s talk about the main ones that I have seen!

1)Aging&Gentics- this is everyone’s least favorite answer because there is absolutely nothing you can do to solve it outside of extensions. Once your follicle stops producing hair there is no going back.

2) Autoimmune Disorders- most specifically your thyroid or lupus.

3)Medications- the biggest medicine that I have ever seen cause harm to hair is birth control! progesterone in birth control is the main ingredient linked to hair loss since it acts the most similar to a male hormone.

4) Hormonal Changes/Stress- cortisol is the body’s stress hormone and when that becomes elevated it can cause the hair follicle and hair growth to be negatively impacted

I have some new faces around here so I thought I would introduce myself!

My actual name is SarahKate however 99% of people just call me SK! I have been a stylist at Foil and Fern for over two years now and I specialize in lived in colors and I love sewing in extensions! I started out in June of 2021 as Megan’s assistant and slowly taking clients until I got a chair of my own, it has been a fun filled two years and I am so excited to see you in my chair!

1) I recently married my amazing husband , who you will hear me tell funny stories about

2) I am a Dr.Pepper addict (it is the way to my heart)

3) I have 2 dogs , Oliver and Dixie who are my babies and I will always show pictures

2 rows of 22”s !!! I’m not going to lie reds intimidate me but this was such a fun project to tackle!

To match her natural red hair without coloring her hair, I ordered one pack of .co machine weft in the color Beckham for her natural red then we did one pack in jtied in the color Diana and we custom colored those to have some dimension !
