We processed this massive maple tree into 16” cut and split pieces of cordwood that yielded a little over 4 cords of wood. Yeah, we can tackle large jobs. 😉

We’re expanding Little Red Chair Wood Splitting to include processing grapple log loads and general large scale projects.
To facilitate that endeavor, here’s our latest acquisition: Introducing the Rugged Made 37 Ton Log Splitter with a Hydraulic Log Lift powered by a 13hp Honda engine with a 6-Way Splitting Wedge. 💪
It took a while to put it together, but it’ll no doubt save time on those large projects!

- Cut, transport, split and stack 5 fallen trees.
- Cut, split and stack a full grapple load of logs.
- Process 11 cords of wood in all.

These exact Fisher Price chairs from the 80’s were the inspiration for the name of Little Red Chair Wood Splitting (www.LRCWS.com).
They are the perfect height and sturdiness for vertical wood splitting and I’ve been using it since 2010. They had belonged to our girls when they were little. Sadly, I’m in need of a replacement.
