We're excited to host our first 'official' event since we named our homestead. Did you know that "Nagel" is a fairly common name in Germany? We're celebrating our German heritage this afternoon with family and friends at our own little Oktoberfest!

What happens when a salty old Marine and his admittedly crazy wife buy almost 12 acres of land that's been neglected for a while? So far, we have planted a failed vegetable garden, tried to work on a path through our nearly 10 acres of beautiful woods, successfully built a bridge over our small creek, and tossed around ideas of possible event hosting or animal raising in the future. Stay tuned and we'll share our adventures (and misadventures) eventually!
