This was my favorite project of the basement remodel. Built these custom barn doors from rough cut pine. Did a weathered stain finish then mounted the barn rolling hardware and hung the doors. The homeowner was looking to utilize as much space possible and still be able to easily access their breaker panel as well as service the heating system and hot water tank.

For all my fellow cat people this was a cool part of this basement remodel. I made great use of this space with two separate storage closets and one of them specifically for the home owners cats. It stores litter box, litter, and food keeping that stinky eye sore out of sight and out of mind. The cats like it too!

Did a bathroom remodel. Ripped down the moldy horsehair plaster ceiling and moldy insulation. Removed the out dated noisy overhead ceiling fan/vent and light. Removed the out dated mirrored vanity medicine cabinet and light. The electrical for the vanity mirror light was improperly wire and piggy backed on the sink outlet. This Marlite, Inc. mahogany panel system came out beautiful at Merrimack Valley High School auditorium. It gives the auditorium a lot more character with the paneling on each side of the stage and grand entry area and control room. We did mahogany baseboards to match the Tong and groove mahogany panels and it’s looking sharp. Principal David Miller was excited and very satisfied with our work.

This was a exciting project to be part of this project at Merrimack Valley High School. They have revamped their auditorium with a mahogany panel system designed by Marlite, Inc. Here you can see the required substrate we installed to receive the panels. We had to glue and tapcon screw 1/2 plywood to the existing block walls for a porous surface that the mahogany panels adhere to. The panels use a silicone adhesive system. We also installed the marlite metal channel that houses the panels.
