Here’s a major TLC we did on this older system for a client in Cypress! Old damaged heater that froze from the last deepfreeze we had a few years ago got replaced along with the non-compatible filter pump. We also made this rental property easier to be controlled through the web making it completely hands-free and operable from anywhere. Just in time to enjoy the spa with this cooler weather and knock the chill off in the pool. ☀️

Here is something we install for manual pool water-fills that have a feed line going directly to the pool. This not only saves TIME and MONEY for those circumstances when one forgets to turn off the water but also gives a luxury upgrade without breaking the bank to install an autofill which would cost several thousands. No more high water bills, chemical loss, and equipment damage!

Chiller and Cooler season! This is just the beginning of these bath-like water temperatures. Best investment one can make to get the most out of every years swim season. Here’s some before, during, and after pictures on this install.

Here’s an acid wash we did on this pool! We were able to recover most of its integrity that was imbedded in this older plaster. Just in time for this family enjoy their pool for summer!!

Here’s a natural gas heater add-on and salt conversion we did on this existing pool! We strive to offer the best quality there is available. This customer now has the option for a pool and heater on their residence which brings value to their listing!

Here’s a customer we did a Pneumatic Timer system that wanted basic, simple, and technology stress-free capability! Certain systems aren’t compatible with certain locations. Latest and greatest doesn’t always work in every area and can cause more harm then help. Always make sure to consult and ask your professional which system is best suited for your setup and your area! This will save you a lot of time and grief.

Here’s some before and after pics of a chiller/heat pump we installed on this existing dark finished pool! We redid all the plumbing and the electrical to make fit. Everything was installed with the necessary clearance to be functional and automated to control with the system. No more swimming in bath water in the summer and only swim seasonal 😎

Here’s a heater swap out we did! The old heater started leaking from the heater exchanger and the current setup wasn’t supplying the adequate gas pressure. Completely had the gas line redone from ground up to supply the correct pressure! Now this customer is ready to enjoy many years of usage without worries of premature failure from running a heater too lean or rich.

When in doubt whether you think you have a leak or not, a water bucket test is a great method to give you a fast and quick idea before hiring a leak detection company! This pool here lost almost 2” of water in 3 days compared to a 1/2” of evaporation that was lost in the bucket. For this test, you will need cut off your Autofill (if applicable), 5 gallon bucket, tape measure, and a Sharpie to mark your water levels - we used a piece of duct tape as our starting point. You’ll need to fill up your 5 gallon bucket with water, higher than your pool level, and place it in a shallow ledge where half of the bucket will be out of the water. Mark the outside of the bucket where the pool water level is at and mark your water level inside of your bucket on the outside as well - you’ll be able to see the water level through the bucket in the daylight (this line will be higher than your pool water level mark). Typically if you have a bad leak, you’ll be able to see a discrepancy in 24 hours. Smaller leaks will take 36-48 hours to see a discrepancy. Then measure the amount loss (if any) and determine wether there is a noticeable discrepancy. In this case, we knew this one had an obvious leak based off our weekly chemistry. We generally advise to have a service company like ourselves come out on a service call to troubleshoot and rule out mechanical problems before hiring a leak detection as most leak detections are costly in comparison!

Every older pool deserves an upgrade! Here’s a compilation of before and afters this pool underwent in over a period of almost a year! Thanks to CTX Outdoor Living for the collaboration and doing a beautiful plaster job to this very good customer of ours. 👏

Always make sure that you have a licensed installer working on your pool equipment. This is caused due to not enough clearance from the exhaust. This becomes a serious hazardous life and death situation. Cheaper is NOT always better. Thankfully this was caught on an inspection and addressed in time.

Here’s a 100,000 gallon salt pool that we added a secondary filtration system to run more efficiently and effectively! The key is to keep wear-and-tear minimal with having the right sized adequate equipment setup to ensure longevity and that’s exactly what we do at Elite Pools. We’re excited for the existing homeowners to enjoy many more swims and seamless ongoing maintenance for this pool!
