Reminder:

Rising 9th graders will begin weight training this week. Whittemore Park Millde School 8th graders will lift Mondays and Wednesdays after school. Conway Middle School 8th graders will lift Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. A bus will be at Whittemore Park Middle to pick up students for weight training at 3:45 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. A bus will be at Conway Middle to pick up students for weight training at 3:45 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Athletes need to be picked up in the student parking lot at Conway High School no later than 5:30.

The weight room will open for after school workouts on Monday, December 4th at 3:30.

YOU NEED TO DO YOUR BEST TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE 1st, 2nd, OR 4th BLOCK WEIGHT TRAINING CLASS NEXT SEMESTER. You need to address this in your IGP meetings.

Each player is required to get a minimum of 50 workouts in order to receive equipment for spring practice. There are 69 workout opportunities for those that do not have weight training class.

Workouts begin at 3:30 and will be held Monday through Thursday.

Winning starts in the weight room!!

Our fall sports banquet will be held Tuesday, November 14 at 6:00 PM at the high school. Players are allowed to bring two guests. We will eat in the cafeteria and do awards in the auditorium. Dress is casual.

Seniors:

Please ask your senior night escorts to be lined up at the goal post at 7:00 Friday night. Senior night festivities will start at 7:05.

Our seniors took time yesterday to recognize some of the teachers that have impacted their lives. Conway High is fortunate to have some great educators in the building! Thanks for everything you do for our student athletes!!

ATTENTION RISING FRESHMEN:

Rising freshmen that are interested in JV football must be prepared to practice Monday 8/21 after school. If you did not participate in summer workouts, tryouts will be Monday 8/21, Tuesday 8/22, and Wednesday 8/23.

All participants must have an up to date physical and have their information put into PlanetHS.

Coach Morrow, our JV head coach, will have a table set up in the commons from 4:00 to 4:30 this Thursday, 8/17, at freshman orientation. Please visit the table if you are interested in playing.

Game day on the surf turf!! Tigers play the Waccamaw Warriors in game 3 of the CNB Kickoff Classic tonight at Coastal. Come out and support our guys! Go Tigers!
