This little beauty came to us from Happy Joyous Farm Pikeville, TN believe it or not this wasn’t a keeper for their breeding program but she will fit in beautifully with my bantam turkens.

UFD: 12 Ayam Ketawa chicks. Hatched today 4/27/24. Partridge, BBR, and possibly spangled.

These birds are not cheap but I will give you a deal on 4 or more.

Stock tank brooder for the win! This is currently my favorite brooding method. We will see if my mind changes when cleaning time comes.

THIS FLAT of THIRTY 3-day-old silkie and showgirl eggs from ALL of my silkie and showgirl pens is up for grabs for $150 for farm pick up. Shipping will be extra. Averaging $11 per silkie and showgirl hatching egg online across all qualities and platforms, this flat would be $330. I'm just outta bator room again b'cuz of course I am.

FULL DISCLOSURE: You might hatch frizzled chicks from either showgirl or silkie eggs in chocolate or black, and the other chicks' colors will vary as there are project pen eggs in here, too. All will have silkie plumage, 90% should have correct features even if the colors are wild, and others will carry the straight comb gene, which can cause leaders on combs with the occasional straight comb cropping up on showgirls. These comb traits are exhibition disqualifiers in the silkie breed and do not affect the health of the offspring. I have no frizzled stags with frizzled hens, so you will not hatch a frazzled chick.

Don't make me pickle these maybe babies.

We're hoping to offer some holiday help to some struggling folks in a nearby area with food this coming week. I'll be baking them some fresh bread, but they're more of a boxed food and canned goods kinda fam than scratch made meals in foil pans. They're looking more for the longevity of shelf stable goods.
