Hey everyone this is English. I wanted to inform you that Kidd’s Brain Freeze will be permanently shutting down operations in Corinth, MS effective immediately.
I have been offered and accepted a position at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville that starts soon.

When I began this journey to bring smiles and awareness to the hometown I loved so; it was important for me to bring two things I love together(HBCUs and Snowcones).
Sitting under a tree while still in class most Saturdays brought a joy that I can’t put into words. I knew the message was bigger than me. Over the course of selling Snowcones there came tshirts, and paint and sips helping to raise funds to send scholars to HBCUs. I’m thankful for creating a platform to do so.

As this journey comes to a close, I would like to thank each and everyone of you that shared a post, came and got a snowcone, purchased a tshirt, sponsored a seat or two at the paint and sips, came to the paint and sips, been a listening ear to my wild ideas, and overall showing support when need be.
Without [YOU] there would not have been [THEE].
Special shout out to the supporting staff for always being there.
This isn’t a goodbye, but a see you later.

Hey everyone. If you have a student that is getting ready to go to college and or in college; it is that time of the year. You know the time for your 2022-2023 FAFSA application.
Here's the steps:
1. Go to www.studentaid.gov to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
2. Log in as a Returning User or Start a New FAFSA and complete the 2023-2024 application.
3. Include the Federal School Code that your scholar is attending(or will attend).
4. Use the Data Retrieval Tool or manually enter the 2021 Tax Information.
It is that simple.

We had a time last night yes we did.
On behalf of Kidd’s Brain Freeze and supporting staff, we would like to thank each and everyone who made our second Paint and Sip successful.
With your contributions we were able to successfully sell our goal in tickets, and meet fundraising goals. Our mission is to send students to HBCUs and give back to our HBCUs.

We had such a great time that we decided to host one more for the year in November.

Hey everyone. I do trust you all are doing well. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, and I am quite sad about this post.

I regret to inform all of my supporters that Kidd’s Brain Freeze will be shutting down until further notice due to family circumstances.
Although we are sad to not be opening, we also strive heavy on [FAMILY] first. That is our number 1 priority.

Stay tuned for a reopening date.

On behalf of Kidd’s Brain Freeze and supporting staff we would like to congratulate all of the class of 2022. Our hope is that you all know that sky is limitless. Keep shooting for the stars.
In the next couple of weeks we will announce the recipient of the HBCUs r US scholarship.

A special congratulations goes out to Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC. Out of the 11 scholars we gifted a HBCU voucher for, 7 will be attending HBCUs this Fall. We are all so very proud of you all.

Class of 2023 and parents be on the lookout for our annual HBCUs r US vouchers where students will have the opportunity to fill out a simple survey, and could be awarded a voucher that will allow the scholar to apply to as many as 60 HBCUs at once.
We are also working on a blueprint of a college fair for this Fall. Stay tuned for details.

When Kidd's Brain Freeze was thought of, the mission was to always raise as many funds as one could to send scholars to college; HBCUs. The notes section became a blueprint of what it was that English wanted to happen for the business, and how would certain things be executed. A Paint and Sip was just one of the many fund raising events to stick out to which was executed.

Early bird ticket sales are over, now the Late Bloomer tickets are on sale.
Also added is sponsor a seat. Be sure to grab your ticket, and then start planning your outfit. We got DJ Von on the 1's and 2's with a few more add on's that can NOT be revealed yet. Only way to know about these add on's is to grab your ticket, your cousin's ticket, or even your BFF for a girl's night out. PLUS you all complain about there's nothing to do in the city any way.
You'd not only be having a great time, but also helping to raise funds for the HBCUs r US scholarship fund.

Yesterday's tragedy at Robb Elementary in Texas reminds us how fragile we are in this nation.
On behalf of Kidd’s Brain Freeze and supporting staff we would like to send our condolences to the families of the ones lost to this senseless act.
Prayers and thoughts are not enough something must be done.
We should not have to live in fear of places we go to on a regular. Most places are suppose to be and feel safe.
Be sure to take this time and anytime to hug on your family a little more, call and or text them you love them, and if you have a gut feeling about something or someone: SPEAK UP and SPEAK OUT!
