Trying a batch of chocolate chip blondies also!

We are well underway! 6 loaves of Pineapple Zucchini breads (2 taken already); dough rising for “twisted” cinnamon rolls (you’ll want one or two of these). Taking my little rest. Up next Tad doing his brownies and Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies! Not looking like I can tackle Sesame Seed Rolls yet. Wear your raincoat…you won’t regret coming to the Corning Farmer’s Market tomorrow 10-3!

Well friends my energy level (or should I say lack thereof) is telling me that for this week’s Market my goal is small but to be back in attendance. So here’s realistically what I can help Tad make today:

Our storefront will be open today(7/30) and tomorrow(7/31) from 10-4!! We will continue to stay open for orders!! We will be posting information about our first cake decorating class tomorrow!! Stay tuned!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Thank God I can create! After my stay in cardiac ICU I’m challenged to follow a strict diabetic, low sodium diet. My son Tristan and I concocted what we’re calling Squash Lasagna which I made a deconstructed version of tonight! I’m so thankful for clean meats from SteAmy Farms and fresh fruits and veggies from Ort Family Farms, Ford Family Farms and my friends Chris and Brian Hoyler who offer what I need to regain my health! Shop Small Business and KEEP TRACK OF YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE! What I didn’t know almost killed me and certainly caused other problems!

Even though we can’t be with you this week it’s a gorgeous day to shop at the Corning Farmer’s Market! Our friends at SteAmy Farms, Ort Family Farms, Ford Farms, Muddy Fingers Farms, 2nd Bite Farms, Glow and so many others have wonderful products for you!

Life is returning to my “new normal” as Tristan returns to his life and work and I continue to manage mine. The outpouring of love, well-wishes, prayers, meals, and a million other gifts of love, time and treasure are helping me to understand that if you want the blessing of saying you belong to a community then you need to be willing to receive from that community and not just give. THANK YOU FOR BEING MY COMMUNITY! I’m doing what I should to be able to return with my co-pilot, Tad August 1st at the Corning Farmer’s Market.

UPDATE: I’m coming home tomorrow! I’m am so blest and thankful!!!

We all learn lessons in life and this week I’m learning I can’t take care of Tad if I don’t take care of me. I’m in the hospital sorting things out and for at least two weeks we will not be able to be at the market.

But don’t forget us and we look forward to being back and loving on customers. Excited to see you’re smiles again.

Back to business…these are cooling; 2 more are baking! Working on the final menu for the Farmer’s Market next week but we know Whoopie Pies and Cinnamon Rolls will be involved! Remember only 2 spaces remain for cooking class the 12th: Texas Hots with homemade meatsauce and Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshakes made with almond milk and frozen yogurt! This class we will sit down and eat together! Message me for details.

First of the pies to go out this morning. We also have orders for Friday!

Reminder that there will be a Corning Gaffer District Farmer’s Market on the 4th of July from 10-3. Tad’s Tasty Treats is on break this week to enjoy a visit from my kids…we will be back the 11th! There are still 2 spots available for the July 12th cooking class from 11-1. We will be making Texas Hots with homemade meatsauce and Chocolate Peanut Milkshakes. Message me for details.

Corning Farmer’s Market friends, have you tasted the delicious products from The Juice Collective? They are a MUST HAVE during this very hot summer! I am enjoying my juice now and it has beets and pineapple (among other fruits) and it’s just the best juice I’ve ever had! Worth every penny! Thank you Teka!
