We are in need of volunteers this Saturday to help with a garage sale for a woman here in Corona. Her name Is Kathy and she is trying to get her house ready to sell so she and her husband can move to Florida to live by her only child. The reason why Kathy needs our help Is that she is in her 70's and her husband Is bedridden from a severe stroke. She needs a couple volunteers throughout the morning shifts to hold down the fort when she needs to go in her home to tend to her husband at various times through the day. Kathy is very organized and clean so this will be a pretty easy volunteer opportunity.
Here are the sign up instructions: Kathy needs help from 5 am up until 3 pm. The sign up is posted here. Please note that the JustServe post is a bit deceiving because it only advertises the first morning shift, but we need helpers throughout the entire day, so you need to click on "list all dates" and "more opportunities" to see the other available time slots. This would be a great family or youth activity. Please share this with your friends so everyone can see the volunteer opportunity.

Youth from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints along with city officials and volunteers did a fantastic thing last week. They helped clean up 6th street! Graffiti cleanup, trash pickup and much more. What an inspiration!
Tomorrow, February 21st, is another blood drive to support our local firefighters. With their new initiative to collect locally, blood during catastrophic events will be used from their local supply first. Saving lives long before we even make it to a hospital. Please come and please share🩸.
