Check your local pharmacies! Sam’s Club pharmacy also offers vaccines (and you DO NOT need to be a member). It never hurts to call and ask for waitlist option!! Tell your family and friends!

04/10/2021

EVERYONE over 16 years of age are now eligible for the COVID vaccine! You can go to http://myturn.ca.gov or your county website for local sites to sign-up!

Check your local pharmacies also (even Sam's Club!), they may have the vaccine in stock. Moderna (2 doses, 4 weeks apart) and J&J (1 dose) are for 18years+, Pfizer (2 doses, 3 weeks apart) is for 16years+.

All have shown at least 60% immunity to minimize risks for the virus and potential variants, but are not 100% preventive. The vaccines help REDUCE your risk for infection, otherwise, provide a SOONER immune reaction to make antibodies to fight the infection if you do get COVID19.

Pfizer & Moderna use mRNA technology to TRANSPORT the code to make antibodies. J&J uses a deactivated adenovirus (used in various vaccines already, and is known as one of the causes of common colds) to TRANSPORT the code to make antibodies. NONE of these alter your DNA or RNA. NONE of these carry any parts of the coronavirus.

GOAL: educate the community, reduce risks, and reduce death (mortality) rates!

My Turn - California COVID-19 Vaccine Scheduling & Notifications My Turn is where Californians can find out if you are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination, schedule appointments, and sign up for notifications. Register to get notified when it’s your turn to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
