Big things happened yesterday!

Cleaning the fallen trees and getting the indoor area redone! The footing is now even and fluffy once again!

We also have to welcome a new member to the barn family! Still yet to be named but oh so adorable! He definitely approves of the fluffy area footing!

Horse Introduction!!!

Everyone meet “Joker Is Wild” aka Joker 🃏

Joker is a 6 yr old Miniature Shetland pony cross. I’ve had Joker since he was weaned. We call him the therapy dog, both for people and other horses.

He definitely lives up to his name and will make you smile just being around him. He is popular and has been to open houses, town events, parades and nativity scenes! He is the first to greet you in the pasture even though he can’t move as quick as the big horses (wait I have little legs!) and he will always appreciate a good itch on the neck!

Everyone meet “Soul Of Discretion” aka Bueno

Bueno is a 8yr old off the track Thoroughbred. Bueno is very sweet yet sassy at the same time. He will not hesitate to unzip and zip up your coat for you, looking for molasses treats in the process!

Bueno has been off the track less than a year and is still learning about his new “retirement” life. He took sometime off to rest his legs, after racing for so long. He is now coming back into work learning simple transitions and speed control (and discovering ground poles won’t grow legs and attack).

Hello Everyone, my name is Maggie Shipe! I am the founder and owner of Cielo Equestrian, LLC. I wanted to introduce myself and welcome you all.

A little bit about me: I first started riding at the age of 5, little did my parents know that one week summer camp would lead to a lifetime of grooming, mucking, hauling and the occasional falling! I have experience in both English and Western, my primary focus being Eventing, Hunter/Jumpers and Polo. I have had the opportunity to work with many different professionals, each contributing to growth and further fueling my passion.

Being in this industry has inspired me to create a positive, safe environment for both horses and riders. A place where the treatment and care of your equine partner will be priority one. A judgment-free zone to foster the passion of riders of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

This is my dream. This is Cielo Equestrian. Welcome!!
