Why has Coastkeeper been seeing increases in brittle star populations, a species that is particularly sensitive to heavy metal pollution? 🤔 Last week, the City of Newport removed signage warning of heavy metal contamination from the Newport Harbor bridge after consistent testing revealed improved water quality.
