We have a church-wide day scheduled for cleaning and decorating (for winter ❄️) at Lighthouse! God has been so gracious to give us our building and we can all work together to take care of it and freshen it up for the new year.

The farewell service for the Bjoknes is this Sunday, October 1! Please plan to attend and bring a dish or two to share for the potluck lunch ☺️

Pastor and LaVonne have invested so much in the people and the ministry of Lighthouse Baptist Church! We will have a farewell service at 10:45am this Sunday, October 1, followed by a potluck lunch.

We are expecting many visitors so we are asking families of 3 or more to bring a main dish and a side. Couples and individuals can bring either a main dish or a side dish. The afternoon meal will be in place of an evening service this Sunday.

God blessed us with a beautiful day to enjoy the flowers and trees at the Minnesota Arboretum 🌸 🌳 🌲 🌹🌻

We are watching the weather closely for tomorrow’s event ☔️ If it’s too rainy, we will make an announcement here and try to send out text messages to everyone who has expressed interest in coming ☺️

Our day trip to the Arboretum will be this Saturday! If you would like to carpool, you can meet at the church at 9:30am :) You do need to purchase your ticket online with the date and time that we will arrive (probably around 10:30am) for Saturday, September 23. It will be a beautiful way to start the fall season!

So... we know that summer is busy time for everyone... is there anyone still interested in picking strawberries on Saturday morning (weather and berry supply permitting)? We completely understand busy schedules but we just wanted to make one more post to see if anyone is interested 😀🍓

Veronica is hosting a bridal shower for Elisa Swartz 🥰 The shower will be on Saturday, June 17 at 3pm at the Windsor home (954 Redwood Drive). Due to the uncertainty of their living situation, they do not have a gift registry but would be blessed by giftcards or donations toward their honeymoon fund.

Strawberry picking is always more fun with friends so we are planning to pick-our-own strawberries on Saturday, June 24! We know that this date might be tentative with weather and growing season, so we'll keep you updated if we make any changes ☺️

What a refreshing time of fellowship and fun! We always have a great time at the MBA ladies retreat! Can’t wait until next year!

The MBA Ladies Retreat is this weekend- April 21-22! We are excited to learn together and enjoy a sweet time of fellowship with ladies from across the state of Minnesota.

We are planning to have a trip to the Eagan Twin Cities Premier Outlets on Saturday, April 15. We can meet up at Lighthouse at 10am to caravan over to the outlets (and if you would like to just meet up at the outlet mall, you can plan to arrive at 10:30am ☺️).

There is a new store called Luxhury that offers a make-your-own option for soaps and candles that might make for a fun stop 😉 Otherwise, there are lots of other stores for shopping and browsing (and plenty of coffee options for your mid-morning ☕️).
