Tonight our studio dance team performed for the residents of the Woodlands. We reserve Friday evenings for nursing home performances! This group enjoys giving back to the residents in our community and Miss Amanda is very proud of them. Thank you for giving your time this evening to come out and perform! A1 Studios dropped off a donation of can goods for Relay For Life Of Alleghany 2023 last week. Our tote is now empty and ready to be fill up one more time before the May committee meeting. We appreciate all donations- the cans are used for hold down the luminary bags and then donated to a local food bank after the event. A1 will also serve as a sponsor for Relay For Life which will be held on August 5th at AET.. we are selling luminary bags if you would like to purchase one - they are 10.00 each and can be purchased in honor or memory of a friend or loved one- forms are available at the studio.

Contest time: Inspired by my clogging mini Lyrcia - look at her clogging on the bases !!! We have so many dancers who are also playing tball and softball over the next few weeks.. many are running in the door at the studio before or after practice ..... or alternating between the two while they prepare for our showcase in May, and we love when our dancers use their skills on the field.... can you believe Miss Amanda also played softball too ???? Say what ??? Tag us in a ball photo or video - and staff will pick their favorite .... we will give our some awesome A1 prizes to a few winners at our showcase in May! Last night in dance classes - we focused on several skills- crossing the midline, which activates both sides of the brain and coordinates complex movement, which is vital to children's brain development. We worked on lower extremity strength, and core strengthening which is critical to increasing balance. Check out our video from Wednesday night!
