GandN Wood & Glass Creations
A wood shop, glass shop, dining room taken over for sewing and other crafts, and a hobby farm!
Need another reason to go to Cheers to Bardstown? I mean, besides our awesome crafts of course, 😋. There’s excellent live music! There will also be food trucks, and alcohol vendors. No tickets required to come hang out!
Too hot to work in my shop, sick kids and sore joints, 😂. So I organized fabrics and made… this!
We’re set up in Mt Washington, and I finally have time to take pics! Sorry for the photo dump, wait, no I’m not, 😂. One of the pretty flowers has a tiny crack, my husband manhandled it during polishing, 😩, but that might just mean I get a shiny for myself, 😋.
Flowers in progress!!! I don’t know if they’ll hang or stick in a pot, and they certainly aren’t going together how I first put all the pieces together, lol, but these daisies are colorful!
P.S. I just got in new foil and solder, I was running out, lol. So hopefully I will get some private requests knocked out this next week or so. Thank you for your patience, Nikki! The hummingbirds requested will be done as well, but I might need to make a glass run first, 😳
Had to make another crazy colored rug with lots of fall feel. First time weaving blue jeans strips on my loom. Took a little tweaking to the fabric strip size, but it went pretty smooth. Threw a lot of surprise color strips in. 🍂🍁🍂
Don’t mind the tassels, lol, I’m still finishing the last run.
Hi! We will be in Mt Washington this weekend!!! Come see us and all the other crafters at the Mt Washington Makers Market from 8a to 12p. It is held alongside the Farmers Market! It is in the City Plaza, at 300 Snapp St.
We will be at the Lawrenceburg Chicken Swap tomorrow. Have plenty of bunnies ready to hop.
We will be at the Dixie Hibbs Bardstown Farmers Market today! I meant to post some new pics, but we’ve been back to school shopping, so time has gotten away from me, lol. Hope to see you there. 😁
Caught a pic of my new rug as we were getting in the truck. The morning sun really made the colors look fantastic.
A mini Rex buck that has passed his quality on to all his kits here at Cox’s Station, has passed away today. A loss of power today knocked out our automatic water system and fans in the barn, so that coupled with the extreme heat may have led to his sudden loss. He is going to be missed, for his personality, and his genetics.
On a hopeful note, I did luckily keep some of his daughters this year. We got a lilac magpie buck for some of our does from Rocking Chair Rabbitry. And we are hoping for a broken chocolate or blue buck from Pekin Pines, August 31, to restart our broken and tri lines. I will keep a son from one of these daughters, or track down a son I sold to replace Cox’s Station’s Prince.
We’ll be there, come join us! We’ll have stained glass, rugs, bird houses, charcuterie boards, cutting boards, wine bottle holders, 3d printing, wood turned pens, tops, bottle stoppers and openers, oh my! Too much to mention, 😊
Craft Fair kicks off tomorrow! Shop more than 90 vendor booths, enjoy live music, demonstrations, food trucks and grab a drink at the Shaker Bar.

FYI. We will not be at the Bardstown Farmers Market in the morning. We are getting things ready for the Shaker Village art fest.
Newest rug, all done! I love this one! Sorry for the subpar pic, lol.
We’re going to be at the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill’s annual craft fair! Hope to see you there!

This litter of Anise’s is too cute. They are tiny and sweet. There’s shades of color as well, black, blue and smoke pearl. I need to get better pics, lol.
Coffee anyone? 😋 The geese wanted back in the yard. The horses are enjoying the yard, and some fresh mineral. An injured butterfly found peace on our shoulders. And a king rabbit enjoyed some quiet time away from her siblings. What a beautiful afternoon.
We will be attending the August 24, Makers Market at the Mt Washington, Ky, Farmers Market! Hope to see you there!
Save the date! We will be set up with stained glass, wood crafts, 3D printing, handmade rugs, and possibly some other creations!
When you’re not up to making glass, you make rugs, 😁. Almost finished! U L theme not intended, lol. Guess I’ll have to make one with a special blue color tossed in, 😉.
Set up a the Bardstown Farmers Market today! Have a few new goodies, including some finished custom requests. I am loving my new glass pieces, especially the colors.
The little geode is a pendant made for a lady who brought me the small piece of rock that she picked up on the beach. I wish I could have done a daintier job with the solder, but I wanted it to be secure, and I couldn’t smooth the edges because they wanted to chip off.
We get asked often what we use on our cutting boards and other wood kitchen items. Howard’s Butcher Block Oil is what we use to finish and seal our wood. It gives it a nice shine and is food safe. You can always give it a nice touch up with the oil or the conditioner, and if needed give it a light sanding before applying.
Last post, 😋. My son has joined our booth. He requested a 3-D printer for Christmas, and this summer has begun creating. He is so excited, lol. He even took his earnings from his first sales and bought more colors of plastic (he insisted at Christmas that he only needed plain colors, 🤣).
2nd post. Finally had time to take pics of my husband new wood work, while we were set up here at the Bardstown Farmers Market. We’ve been so busy these last few weeks, we’ve been at separate events some weekends. Some of these might not be the best pics, with other in the background, but he did a great job, and made some really beautiful items.
First of three posts. I have finished so many new stained glass pieces, lol. I need to clean my workspace so I can work on some requests. ☺️
My son is washing my glass and watching Pokemon, 😋
Almost done!
And we cut and ground so much glass last night… butterflies, birds, and heart flags, 😁
My glass shop companions/gaurdians, 😋. I ordered a bunch of beautiful glass cabochons for making jewelry from Sue Golding, in Florida. I’ve already ordered another batch, lol. Trying to get ready for the Ky Wine and Vine Fest on June 15, 2024, in Nicholasville, Ky. The last pic are some necklaces, they are still filthy, and might need tweaking, but I like them, what do you think?
💡Did you know rabbits can easily be litter box trained?
All of my rabbits in my rabbitry are litter boxed trained and this is a litter box guide on how I did it. ☺️
These pretty babies went home today!
