5 Must-Know Facts About the Legendary Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon
Military Origins: The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, commonly known as the G-Wagon, was originally developed as a military vehicle. It was first designed in the 1970s in collaboration with the Austrian military vehicle manufacturer Steyr-Daimler-Puch and was introduced to the civilian market in 1979.

Iconic Design: The G-Wagon's design has remained largely unchanged since its inception. Its boxy, rugged look is instantly recognizable and has become a symbol of luxury and durability.
