Head Light Landscape Construction
We are a landscape construction and excavation business serving customers in Southern Maine.
Cutting in the final pavers is always so satisfying as it really starts to look finished!!
We hope everyone enjoyed the 4th 🇺🇸! Looking forward to a few days to recharge before we are back at it on Monday!!
We finished up this little wall yesterday! Who doesn’t love natural stone? It certainly elevates any landscape and adds curb appeal! 🪨 🔨 🌳
Today we finished out the 18 walkways and front entrance’s on our condo association project. It has been a hot few weeks with many challenges, but it always feels good to wrap up a large project. “We are only capable of what we believe we can do…” Time to move on to a new patio and retaining wall✌🏻
This is your sign to get more out of your backyard, it’s officially patio, pool and fire season!! 💦 🔥 🌙 🪵 We can design a space that brings your backyard from ordinary to focal point that your family and friends will love for years to come!
It may be hot 🥵 but we are working away, here is the latest condo walkway! Stay hydrated friends!
We had the best Father’s Day and hope you did too!
We spent Saturday with my Great Aunt in Peru, ME demolishing her old brick retaining wall and replacing it with some reclaimed cobble stones from local city streets. Love being able to repurpose materials and spend time with family all in one day!
Work continues on our condo association walkway project. We are now 2/3 of the way done! The pavers in this project are Ledgestone XL in Toffee/Onyx. It feels good to be more than halfway there!
Almost halfway through our condo association walkway project, then it will be on to patios and a retaining wall. Beyond thankful to be this busy!!
These XL Cambridge Ledgestone pavers can be a chore to move around but they sure do provide a stunning bold look. Almost halfway done on this large condo project!
Work continues this week on our large condo project. Lucky to have the guys help me load up before school! If it was up to them they would tag along instead of school 🫣
Owning a business is all about being flexible and finding out what works and what does not. From the very start I had a vision of where I wanted to be in 10 years and we are more than on track to hit those goals. As the company continues to grow and evolve so has the focus of the business. So here we are :) Head Light Landscape Construction. You might ask - When Does Landscaping Become Construction? Landscaping becomes construction when you start building or adding new elements onto the property or removing existing features. Examples of landscape construction activities are:
• Building Structures, Patios, Fire Pits, Walkways, Walls, Etc.
• Excavating & Earthwork
• Installing New Features
• Making General Improvements
• Creating New Drainage Systems
• Removing Existing Features
Yes will will still be installing new softscapes as part of the construction process but our focus remains on building new and updating old spaces for your family or business to enjoy! Thank you for all of your support and help growing this business it means the world! - Brandon
The season is in full swing and if you have an excavation, hardscape or landscape construction project in mind message us and find out how to get started. With plenty of time to plan we can create perfection for your property!
There is nothing better about this business than connecting with old friends. Cary worked with my dad at WCSH-6 when I was a kid and even used me in a few community relations promos. I can still remember her taking me out of school early a few times to go do TV, nothing cooler as a kid! Full circle today looking at some ideas for her backyard. So much fun to catch up with such a positive person 😊 !!!
Spring is finally here and if you have an excavation, hardscape or landscape construction project in mind message us and find out how to get started. We design, install and build spaces that you and your family will enjoy for years to come. There is still time to plan and complete a project before the end of the season.
A moment of gratitude for an amazing group of clients. We are fortunate to have such great relationships with them. This storm challenged everyone who owns commercial and residential property. No one complained, everyone just went with it. Those of us who grew up in Maine know weather like this is nothing new, but doesn’t it humble you every time. This will be a distant memory in July when Maine shows her true beauty, but for now we are going to get some sleep 😴 🏔️ 🌊 ☀️
I hope the forecasts are wrong but here we go one last time before summer work starts!
Mother Nature about to say hello from the other side. A lot of this footage was shot last March 😳… Oh well, cheap fertilizer as the old saying goes!
Passion is contagious and seeing these two love machines and the process at such an early age is truly awesome. I loved it at their age too but didn’t have the chance to follow my passion until later in life, but here we are doing it! More than ready to get the season going!
Anyone else convinced winter is gone? I think everyone is ready to get going on the projects we have lined up for this spring and summer. Until then here’s a look back of some of last year’s fun!
