MOMS and TOTS Storyhour

Mom and Tots families…join us this Tuesday-Friday for lots of fun and learning!

Join us Tuesday-Friday, June 18-21 at 6:00-7:30 for our Summer Bible Time! We’ll learn about the promises of God. Bible stories, games, learn a memory verse, snacks and lots of fun!

We had a great picnic celebrating another year of great Bible stories, singing, crafts and friendships being formed!

We’re so thankful for all the moms, grandparents, and care givers who came to hear stories from the Bible! See you all in the Fall when we’ll begin a unit on Colors!

Join us Tuesday, May 21 for our last Story Hour for the season. We’ll learn about our amazing sense of taste.

We’ll end with a picnic lunch immediately following Story Hour in the lawn / parking lot at the Gospel Hall. The weather is supposed to be beautiful! Cant wait to see you all then 🥰

Tuesday was a busy day learning about our wonderful sense of sight! 😎We planted bean seeds. We got to hear a puppet show from some of our own Story Hour friends about a blind man that the Lord Jesus healed!

Don’t forget our last storyhour is next Tuesday and we will learn about our sense of Taste! We’ll end with a picnic lunch in the parking lot immediately following storyhour. 🥰

We always think our kiddos that join us each Tuesday for Moms & Tots are amazing…but we don’t always get to bragg about their Moms!

BUT..we have the most amazing Mommas who think it’s important enough to bring their little ones each Tuesday to come hear a story from the Bible. We know it’s not always easy getting little ones dressed and out the door…but we appreciate you! Without the “Moms”…we couldn’t have a “Moms & Tots” program! ❤️

So today, we want to recognize each of you, Moms! You’re amazing and while we love your kiddos… we also love YOU! ❤️Happy Mother’s Day! 🥰

And to all the mothers not pictured in our post today, we equally love you! 🥰

Join us tomorrow as we continue learning about our 5 senses! We’ll explore the sense of smell together. Bring something that smells good for show and tell. We will plant flowers for our moms for Mother’s Day. 🥰

Today was a great day at Moms & Tots! We learned about our amazing sense of touch! The kids loved feeling and guessing the things in our feely box! We heard another story from the Bible about a lady who was healed by Jesus when she touched Him! Jesus told her that her faith had made her well again!

Join us tomorrow as we continue to learn about the 5 amazing senses God has given us! We’ll learn about “touch”. Bring something that feels neat for Show & Tell.

Today we began a unit on the 5 Senses. We learned about “hearing” and how Adam and Eve heard the sneaky snake talk in the Garden of Eden. We learned how sin entered the world and God’s beautiful plan of salvation to bring us back to Him. ❤️

We had a great day learning together! 🥰

Join us tomorrow at 10 AM for the start of our unit on The 5 Senses! We’ll learn about hearing, so bring a musical instrument! 🎶 👂

We had a great turnout for our Bear week! We learned about David protecting his sheep from the bear. We learned “We’re going on a bear hunt”, 🎶 made Bear headbands and ate yummy teddy bear pancakes for our snack.

We also got to see the butterfly 🦋 that was “born again” from a caterpillar and we released it outside. Next week we’ll begin our 5 Senses unit.

Tomorrow concludes our Animal unit with the study of David and the bear. (We missed this story because of a snow day) Bring a bear for Show & Tell and we’ll eat teddy bear pancakes for our snack! 🐻

Hey everyone! We have a butterfly! And one more chrysalis still to open!

This week we had a great time learning about chickens! We got to see and even hold some real chicks! (thanks Danielle Dolan ❤️) We had great helpers making scrambled eggs to eat as our snack! We heard a story about a mother hen who gave her life for her chicks to keep them safe. It reminded us of Jesus who gave His life so we could have salvation.

“By this we know love that He laid down us life for us.” 1 John 3:16

Join us tomorrow for the sweet story of the mother hen! We’ll make scrambled eggs together for our snack. Bring a chick or chicken for Show & Tell. 🐥

Today we learned about how the butterflies are born twice! Did anyone complete their take home paper? We’d love to see if you did…Post here in the comments! 🦋

The rain didn’t stop us today! We learned about how the caterpillar is “born again” into a butterfly! We heard the story of how Jesus explained to Niccodemus that he must be born again to go into heaven! Ms. Sheila brought in real caterpillars and we saw them spinning a cocoon. Hopefully next week we’ll be able to see the butterflies when they hatch!

Jesus said, “You must be born again”. John 3:7 ❤️

Join us this Tuesday morning for the amazing resurrection story told with hidden surprises in each of the Easter eggs! We’ll learn about the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. 🐑 Bring a lamb for Show & Tell!

Another fun day learning about Animals in the Bible! 🐠 Today we learned how God had put a coin in the mouth of a fish so Peter could pay his and Jesus’ tax! Our snack today had a fish with a coin in its mouth too! 🐟

Tomorrow we have another amazing Bible story planned for you about how God used a fish to pay Peter’s taxes! Bring a fish for Show & Tell! We’ll learn and have some fun together! ❤️

The Bible is filled with the BEST stories ever! Today we learned about God’s amazing power to protect Daniel in a den of lions! We painted 🦁 with forks and ate some lion face crackers for snack!

Tomorrow is the story about Daniel and the Lions Den! Come hear the story told with our action figures and puppets! Bring a lion for show and tell! And we’ll use forks to paint a lion’s mane!

Today we learned about some tiny little creatures that teach us a BIG lesson! 🐜 Just like the ants gather food in the summer to prepare for the coming winter… we need to be prepared when Jesus comes back for those who have trusted Him.

“Go to the ant…consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest.“ Proverbs‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ 🐜🐜🐜

Tomorrow we’ll learn a lesson from the little ants! Bring an ant or insect for Show n Tell. We’ll have Ants on a Log for our snack!
