There are no words to express how incredible our PTO has been this school year! These ladies have gone above and beyond to coordinate and host some incredible events and activities for our students and staff. This lovely and thoughtful gift for Mrs. Webb is simply the icing on the cake!

After many smiles (and a few tears)…that’s a wrap!

With the generous donations from our PTO members we were able to send Mrs. Webb off with a custom watercolor painting of New Hope to take with her to her new space. Thank you to all of the car rider families who helped us celebrate both Mrs. Webb and Mrs. Baldwin this morning!

It was a wonderful year and I am so very grateful. A huge thank you to our wonderful board members this year: Mariel Wright, Amber Ellsworth, Jesse Cerniglia, Caitlyn Housworth, and Kristy Ortego. These ladies have worked so incredibly hard to make this year a success and we wouldn’t be where we are without them.

To all of our nighthawk families who have volunteered, donated, been Watch DOGS, mystery readers, room parents and attended events: THANK YOU. Your participation in the lives of your school community is truly invaluable and makes such an enormous difference.

I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and we can’t wait for year 3!!

Our 15 buses pulled out for the last time of the 2023-24 school year. We are so proud of our Nighthawks and their accomplishments. We hope everyone has a great summer!

What an amazing day for our 5th graders. A huge thank you to our PTO for organizing such a memorable event.

As we complete another successful school year in FCS, please keep the following in mind if you plan to celebrate/surprise your child at the bus stop today:

Plan activities away from the school bus and bus stop. Distractions are extremely dangerous to students, bus drivers and motorists.

Do not involve the bus or bus driver. The students on the bus need to remain calm and the driver needs to stay focused on their job of keeping all students safe at all times.

Wait until all students are well away from the school bus, out of the bus crossing zone, and the driver has left the bus stop area before any bus stop activity takes place.

Indy received a fun bandana from Ruby the therapy dog at Coal Mountain Elementary! He loves wearing it and showed it off to all his friends at school! Thank you Ruby🐶🐾
