SwimKids of Ga: home to so many memories and filled to the brim with hometown heroes.

Let’s be honest when you first cross the threshold you and your little one’s hearts are filled with a sense of something the feels uneasy. Will this work? Will my child truly learn the art of survival swim? Will they cry? Will they be scared? Will they be taken care of…like truly loved to the core? The short answer? Yes, to all of it.

The unique thing about SwimKids and what sets them apart from the rest is their desire to make sure you and your little one are fully known, fully seen, and fully loved. That uneasy feeling quickly fades away. The those tears that fell in your early days quickly turn to smiles…you know what I’m talking about, the big ones from ear to ear. It becomes something you look forward too. It becomes a place you and little one belong. It becomes the highlight of your day and your week.

What’s happening within those walls is magic. Watching a fearful child become eager to swim. Watching a 6 month old baby who can’t even walk independently float and not sink. Watching your big kid move to stroke school, race down that lane and hit that flip turn for the first time. Watching your toddler trust and love someone fully other than you. Watching a parent take it all in as their child accomplishes something so much bigger than themselves. The growth is immeasurable. There’s nothing like it. There’s nowhere like it.

To say SwimKids is a step above the rest is the understatement of a lifetime. There is grit. There is grace. There is growth. There is kindness. There is love. Sure there are other places you could go but why?

Survival swimming lessons provide children with the life-saving skills necessary to be able to save themselves from drowning should an aquatic accident occur. By teaching them the basic skills of propulsion, floating and breath control, young children are able to swim-float-survive and transform from being helpless in the water into confident and capable swimmers, even at a young age.

Congratulations to our most recent graduate, Vikram! Vikram came to SwimKids fearful of the water, but quickly gained trust in his instructor and confidence in himself to master his survival swim skills. Vikram graduated our swim-float-swim program in just 14 lessons, and will now move into our Big Fun class to retain and build upon his swimming skills.

Pure Little Splashers Sweetness 💙

This is the beginning of your baby’s water experience! Infants 4 months to beginning walkers, along with a parent or caregiver, will be introduced to the aquatic environment – splashing, bonding, and making new friends. This program is the precursor to swim-float-survive, and gets your baby comfortable with our swim school, staff and of course, the water!

Summer is still in full swing at SwimKids of Georgia. ☀️ BUT did you know were open year round?

All lessons are taught at our indoor facility and are offered year-round. Our pool temperature is kept at 90 degrees so that our students and staff are comfortable and able to focus on swimming

Only 16 months old. Only week 2. We’re working our survival swim magic on this one, like we always do, and watching it all take place is INCREDIBLE. Just think she’s barely been on the earth for a year and she is being equipped with skills to save her own life. It never gets old.

Growing up with SwimKids. 🤍

There’s something really bittersweet about watching your child grow. You watch in amazement as they hit their milestones. You cheer them on through rolling over, crawling and first steps. You comfort them through teething and scraped knees. You advocate for them and their safety. You do what you can to protect them, their little hearts & their precious lives. You surround them with people who will speak life and love into their souls & do everything you can to instill that “can do” attitude.

From our littlest of Little Splashers to our biggest in our Stroke School we’re here to walk alongside you in this journey. We’re here to encourage you through the sad days and to cheer for you on the glad days! Growing up happens in a blink and although we all catch ourselves reaching for a pause button aren’t we glad their isn’t one? Just think of all we’d miss because although growing up can be bittersweet what a treasure it is to watch unfold.
