I want to discuss our pricing on our soaps! I’ve had several remarks made that we are too high on prices!! These soaps are luxury soaps that are better for the skin and health ! They are chemical free and all natural. They are large 5 oz bars containing luxury oils and all natural ingredients. To be able to provide quality ingredients the cost of making the products go up by a sufficient amount! If you google homemade soap or all organic soap you will find Barefoot’D Gypsy is one of the best priced available! To break it down we are out of pocket around $2.25 on soap alone then another$ 1.00 for packaging and labels. If you do the math you will find we are making around $1.75 a bar! Think of how many bars we must sell to make a decent profit.

I tested out a batch of triangle shaped soaps and I wasn’t pleased with the feel of them! They seemed ackward in my hands while i lathered and I kept dropping it! I hve thought hard about it and have decided to stay with the traditional square shape! I will be posting the new spring soaps and scrubs within the next two weeks so keep an eye out!!!
