Good morning! As dispatchers for power only loads, have the carrier send you pictures of the trailer to make sure they are picking the correct one. Also, make sure they inspect the inside of the trailer as well because shippers will not load damaged trailers!

Trucking Tip Tuesday! CVSA Brake Safety week is August 21-27th. Are you ready? Here are 10 tips to get prepared. 1. Inspect brake hoses and tubing during pre/post inspections 2.Report any issues in your DVIR 3. Look for brake hoses that make contact with steering, suspension etc 4.Listen for air leaks, make the repairs 5.Brake hoses not be kinked 6.Air lines should not hang down and touch the tractor deck or frame 7. Check for abrasion wear 8. Make sure your hose is not chafing 9. Make sure your hose isn’t worn 10. Make sure all repairs are consistent w/ manufacturers requirements and guidelines The most important thing is to make sure you are keeping up with your truck maintenance to keep your truck on the road!
