🌈Pride is more than a single flag; it’s a beautiful spectrum that represents the diversity within the LGBTQ+ community. Each flag has its own unique meaning and story.
At Chill, we prioritize not only advocating for but also celebrating our q***r clients and their diversity. Being an ally goes beyond mere acceptance; it requires active support and advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights.
The LGBTQ+ community often faces unique mental health challenges due to discrimination, stigma, and lack of acceptance, leading to higher rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. But there IS hope, and it begins with understanding and support.
If you or someone you know is in need of support, we have an incredible team of amazing clinicians ready to walk alongside you or your loved one. Head to the link in our bio to schedule a free 15-minute consultation!

Hey chill fam, Aesha here! Happy AAPI month!
As a south Asian person of color and a clinician, breaking the stigma of mental illness in south Asian communities is so important to me. By educating folks about mental health & how it shows up in the context of our culture, we can promote recognizing signs & seeking out help for yourself or your loved ones. Candid conversations can provide some release from generational karma and further our sense of collectivism.
Representation matters and is one of the reasons I chose this career/profession. Talking to someone who looks like you can promote the therapeutic relationship and allow for meaningful work to occur.
Happy Mother’s Day to all those celebrating. Sending love to those for whom this day is difficult. 💕
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, from all of us at Chill, to those of you who are or have been affected by mental health: We see you, we honor you and we’re here for you.

“When you and your buddy meet up >>>

Got to eat some delicious food (highly recommend this spot!) & learn more about each other!! The vibes were up of course 🤎 🤎 🤎 “
BTS:
In addition to our biweekly meetings, we meet quarterly for our team retreat (“ChillCon”). At our last one, we talked about how much everyone wants to bond, especially given that we live in 5 cities across Texas. We don’t have the luxury of popping in each other’s offices or grabbing lunch so introduced a “buddy system” where for two months, we pair up and support each other on goals and just…chill.
May is here & we’re almost half way through 2024!
The first of the month is a great time to set intentions, or to take inventory of your mindset going into a new month! Let us know in the comments what you’re manifesting and shifting this month!
Happy May 1st, Chill Fam! Make every day count! 😉
Finding a therapist can be a tedious and overwhelming experience but Kosi is sharing some helpful tips for the process!
Remember, you don’t have to find a therapist to be with forever, just the right one for what you need now. Let us help you—book a free 15-minute consultation with any of our therapists (Like Kosi!)
“Most times, the way isn’t clear, but you want to start anyway. It is in starting with the first step that other steps become clearer.“ -Israelmore Ayivor
The benefits of therapy are widely acknowledged, but what’s often overlooked is its challenging nature. Healing and self-discovery are often tough journeys. Therapy can be messy and difficult. However, I think many of us can agree that the work has been worth it!
If you’re ready to put in the work toward a more confident, self-aware, and healed version of yourself, check out our team and get booked for a free consultation!

Raise your hand if you’ve ever been personally victimized by yourself. 🙋🏽♀️🙋🏻🙋🏿♂️
We get it. We’ve all been there. In a world that constantly bombards us with images of perfection and success, it’s easier than ever to fall into the trap of self-doubt and low self-esteem.
The good news, though? Confidence and self-esteem are within reach when we identify and minimize the habits that hold us back.
Remember, building confidence is a journey, not a destination. Be patient and kind to yourself as you navigate this process, and celebrate each step forward along the way. You deserve to shine bright and live life to the fullest.
If you feel like you need extra support or accountability in your journey, reach out to us through the link in our bio! We would love to support you in whatever season you’re in.
Happy Monday, Chill Fam!
As we embark on a new week, here’s a gentle reminder to simply ✨ begin ✨
We totally get that change can feel daunting, but trust: Nothing great ever came from a comfort zone. 😉
So whether it’s a new project, a conversation you’ve been avoiding, or a change you’ve been longing for, remember that every journey (and result) starts with a decision to begin. You’ve got this! Let’s get it. 💪

Do you know your attachment style?
Attachment can help explain the connection between your relationship with parents, caregivers, or other significant adults in infancy and childhood and the various relationships you have with others as an adult, especially with romantic partners.
Can my attachment style change?
Yes, after a relational trauma, you can move into a more insecure attachment. The good news is that if you have an insecure (anxious, avoidant, disorganized) attachment style, you can also become more secure.
What questions do you have about attachment? Let us know below.
