I talk alot about dance and what it means to me, and I could never put it into worw but this picture really helps to sum it up. I met each of these girls through different dance classes here in Dallas. Each of them have taught me something. They each bring a different perspective, different talent, different energy. We all come from different parts of this country. This is what I love about dance. This photo. Each of us so unique, and yet brought together because we all share the same passion, the same end goal. That's community.

This is why I teach. These faces. These people. I'm truly so grateful for every single class and every single person I've met.
