Got this text today from one of my clients after we settled her case today. I felt like I had to fight an army (corporation) on this one, but we got it done for an amount that we're satisfied with and I'd do it all over again for her. It almost makes me emotional for reasons I can't explain but I'm just thankful to be here.

I have a very young client who was riding his bike when he was run over by a driver going too fast in a residential neighborhood. When I spoke with the adjuster, she told me it was 50% my client's fault and part of her justification was that he was shirtless! Of course I filed suit and I guess they changed their minds because I got policy limits today. All this to say, don't let insurance companies bully you around, make sure you get yourself a professional if needed.

Deposed a defendant late last week and was offered full insurance policy limits today! I love that I get to help our clients get medical treatment paid for and a good amount out of the settlement. The job isn't always easy but so worth it.
