My heart melted the moment I saw Isabella’s sweet little face – and I know yours will too!

I love how throughout the Bible you can see how deeply God cares for His creation. We often read the story of Noah and focus on the great flood, or how God rescued one man and his family from destruction. But if you look closely, you’ll see just how much God cared not just for Noah, but for all living things.

Genesis 6:19 says…
“And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark to keep them alive with you. They shall be male and female.”

Even in a moment of just judgment, God’s thoughts were for life. Friend, God cares for His creation, from the lilies of the field and the humble sparrow (Matthew 6:25–30) to every precious child in a mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13–16).

Just look at precious Luca, the July baby featured in the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center calendar. God knit him together in his mother’s womb. This child is lovingly made in the image of God; he is of immeasurable value to God, and God calls on us to value the life of every little one like Luca.

Our Executive Director, Leanne, and our Director of Medical Services, Whitney, are spending some time this week, in Indiana, at the Southern Baptist Convention, speaking about our center and our mission!

Vitamin Bridge became a Park Place Season of Giving recipient so they gifted us with twice the amount of prenatal! We are so grateful for this extra blessing.

We just received an amazing donation from a local mama. She said that they received so many things from her baby shower and wanted to bring what she did not need. She brought over 10 boxes of diapers, and bags filled with bottles and other items. Her trunk was full, and she said she has more things to bring! She also said she wanted to bring items to us because she knew we will give them out for free. Praise God for the generosity of local families!

When it comes to the heroes of the faith, Moses is right up there, isn’t he? Truly, he was a mighty man of God. And yet in his earliest days, Moses’ fragile life hung in the balance as Pharaoh’s troops were ordered to put to death the Hebrew babies. But despite the evil schemes of Pharaoh, the courage of Moses’ mother and the provision of God kept him safe!

A similar theme echoes through the ministry of Prestonwood Pregnancy Center – as we see the courage of mothers and the provision of God keeping precious little ones safe! It’s that theme that plays in my heart when I look at this photo of sweet Alexander, who features as our May baby in this year’s Prestonwood Pregnancy Center calendar.

This exhibit showcases first-century artifacts discovered within the Holy Land, where Jesus, His family, His disciples, and His followers lived, traveled, and taught.

In partnership with the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center, The Nazarene will host a diaper drive from May 10th through May 12th. For every diaper donation, mothers from each party will receive one complimentary ticket to The Nazarene for their generosity. All diaper contributions will go to the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center. *

We are so fortunate to be able to have provided 55 strollers to families in need. As any parent knows, a stroller makes transporting little ones much more convenient and allow parents to set their babies down but still keep them safe and near.
