As dispatchers, we all have a responsibility to operate in compliance with the FMCSA Although these are just two brokers doing this at the moment, what if everyone did? Our dispatching companies would go out of business as a result of this. As a dispatcher, you do not have loads. We work with brokers ON BEHALF of our carriers and those brokers have loads. Please do not book a load under one carrier and double broker it to another. Double brokering is illegal. Even though I'm aware that not all of us are acting in this way, a few rotten apples might spoil everything for us all. It won't harm to get in touch with the owner and discuss this with them. DO NOT fill out the dispatcher portion of the Broker Carrier Agreement for either of these businesses.
