"Road to Jaffa Gate" | Jaffa Gate in Jerusalem's Old City is named after the city of Jaffa located in Tel Aviv, along the Mediterranean Sea. It is so-named because it was once the end of the road from the city of Jaffa to the Old City in Jerusalem - it even had an identical clock tower, built above the battlements, to the iconic one in old Jaffa.
