“Not my problem”, “not my emergency”, “we will figure it out when we get there”, “good enough” all these sayings your hear around the country of firefighters that are conformed to the ways of being the minimum standard, complacent, and mediocre.
Well, not this group. Not this chapter. Each of you that have sacrificed are making this chapter better. You’re making the fire service better.
You as FNT F.O.O.L.S. made this happen.
We want to get this out to the masses so all are able to look ahead at their calendars and make room. You’re going to want to.
Cinch in and get a good hold with your feet because the gate is about to open! 👊🏼

Engaging youth as first responders is not only a way to empower them but also to enhance community resilience. By involving young people in emergency response settings, we can cultivate a generation that is well-prepared, responsible, and proactive in times of crisis.

A Shift after a burner today!
Father’s Day is a special occasion for many, but for children growing up with their fathers who are firefighters, it carries special significance.
The fire department isn't just a place of work for their dads; it's their second home, filled with things like tradition, teamwork, training, camaraderie, adrenaline, bravery, laughter, a strong sense of duty and service.
These children get a front-row seat to the incredible world of firefighting, learning invaluable life lessons along the way. Often learning, sometimes even first-hand, the truth of sacrifice, loss and grief.
Today there are Firefighter Fathers on duty, just like every other day, waiting for the call, a chance to respond and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
So if this is you, or someone you love; who is on duty, off duty, active or retired, paid or volunteer, living or passed on...
Firefighter, and father?
This post is for you!
Happy Father’s Day 2024
