Update! We have not had that many builds as we are working on a website. We sat down over the weekend and got alot done with that. Helpfully we will have it out and ready to go before end of this month but building it from the ground up!

New vendors, and new business partner!

Last few years with shortages due to covid and well.. everything really slowed things down here. But we have been working hard in finding and working out new partnerships with venders that will open many doors to getting top level Is materials. We will go into more details on that later.

We also have some New guarantees and services that we are going to be offering for all the items we make!! Very exciting stuff if you ask me.

We have some new builds and projects coming out soon. We have also been working with some new vendors and that is opening up so many doors for us right now. Lot of things to come!

I have been slacking over the last 6-8 months on jobs we have completed. We completed this job for a local bar in Plano/Richardson area. We were commissioned to build a industrial bar/liquor storage cabinet, an industrial trash can cover, an industrial food service shelf, and industrial seating area. If you have a custom project you would like to get built, get ahold of us, we would love working with you.

Check out this beauty!! This took about a week longer than expected due to parts not being able to be delivered on time but end result....THEY LOVE IT!!

These doors are over 10' tall 3' wide weight a ton. I had to build an in bottom wheel system to help support the weight because the wall had NO 2x4s other than around the door opening. Needless to say we at Urban Industrial & Modern Designs knocked it out! More work with this great Christian clothing line to follow.

After about 2 weeks of designing and working with the customer and and a friend of mine helping me with the CAD design we finished the table and I LOVE the finished product. This piece was shipped to California and the customer was in their words" were speechless". I had a different name picked out for this piece but after the design and the color they picked I am going to call this " The Golden Gate"
I had a good friend of mine with metallurgy and forging experience help me with part of the forging/ metal bending details at the bottom of lower rails. You can see the details in some of the close up pictures we took.

I was out today showing someone one of my designs and he asked me how are you inspired by your designs. I explained to him how I get some of my ideas
So here is a job we did and where we took the profile of a bridge and incorporated it into a design. Its another Render to Reality. This is one of my favorite ones and I hope to get a chance to make more of these.

First item we made for this customer was a 5' Industrial looking clock. This was a fun piece to make. This piece was inspired by the owner from a clock he saw on a subway in N.Y. He came to me and asked if I could help with the design of his vision. This was the final product.

Secondly we have a custom made a couple custom made wine credenzas. One we made has a dual wine-cooler built into the piece. Please take time to view our design and if you are interested in having a custom piece made get in touch with us.

Lastly in this posting we built an Industrial bed frame. We call this piece MAX STEAL. It is made with a mixture of solid steal panels and decorative mesh. Finished with a charcoal patina finish. If you like these or you are interested in any other custom piece of furniture made let us know.

Kitchen island finished with reclaimed train flooring for top and shelf. The 12 inch overhang has integrated steel supports so there is maximum legroom when pulled up to with a stool. My first few designs I built a little bit ago had lower aprons covering the wheels and underneath. This is a version based on that cart design. That design incorporates the aprons to give it that smooth clean look and then of course turned into a more of a kitchen island.

Well today was the day to pick the winner of the "naming rights" for the shelf with the C-clamps on it. Everyone submitted great names and some people even had the same names. All in all it was a great contest and I thank everyone who participated. It was not an easy decision but the winning name of the shelf goes to Alan Mears. He came up with "The Clamp-it" He will receive a free shelf.

This is our newest product that is going to be added to our product line. We have made 7 or 8 now and seems to be very popular. If anyone is interested we can build you a nice shelf. We can also add the wood wall behind it if interested.
This is "The Drawbridge" standard size is 50" x 15" This is a shelving unit that is made from wood and steel. This shelf can be made in a variety of ways with different tops including: glass, wood,and steel. Fully customization in size and color. This item can also be enlarged to create a bar or desk for any room. Price will vary with size and materials used. Discounts can be given with the order of more than 2 units. Finally from Render to Reality this custom piece is DONE!! I call this peice "ROOTS" This was a unique design because they wanted it to stand out! LITTERLY, they wanted to to have a layer on a different plane than the rest. So thats what I did. I cut out the design on a CNC router. I really loved how the final project came out and I think they were very pleased as well. They now want a desk. Pictures coming soon. Feed back is appreciated.
